Is it true that this disease in humans is the result of evolution?
In a way we are paying the price of evolution ??
A: Yes, back and knee pain is found in most people in middle age due to evolution. Back and knee structures evolved millions of years ago when all vertebrates were cattle. The bone is a horizontal unit, so it does not weigh down on the joints of the seals. In addition, the body weight is divided into four legs, so there is not much stress on the joints of the front or back legs.
When walking on two feet, the lumbar vertebrae became vertical instead of horizontal, so that all the weight of the body above the hips falls on the joints of the spinal cord seals - similarly, more or less all the body weight falls on the knee joints.
The direction of this stress on the joints changes as you walk or run - the spine and knee joints not only have to carry the weight of the body but also the body has to maintain balance - our brain balances the body. The angle of weight on the spine is constantly changing to maintain it, which we don't realize, but it keeps the spine stressed all the time.
When we do not consciously try to keep the spine straight while standing and sitting, our poor posture usually puts extra stress on the spine - this spine has been in place for decades. The distance between them decreases or the cushion between them disappears and the seal bones start to collide directly with each other - all these factors lead to chronic back pain.
