Why did the Holy Prophet (PBUH) perform multiple marriages?

 * Extremely beautiful writing must read *

 * A professor writes that it was a long time ago that when I was serving in Liaquat Medical College, Jamshoro, the boys held a Sira-ul-Nabi conference there and invited all the teachers. So I attended this conference with Dr. Inayatullah Jokhio (who was an orthopedist). In this session, a lecturer in Islamic studies gave a detailed account of the private life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the details of each of his marriages, why he got married and how it benefited the Ummah. *

 * This statement was so effective that the audience appreciated it. At the end of the conference, when we were both coming to Hyderabad from Jamshoro, Dr. Inayatullah Jokhio said a strange thing ... He said that ... Tonight I am a Muslim again. *

 * When I asked for details, he said that when he went to England for FRCS eight years ago, the journey from Karachi to England was quite long. An air hostess came and sat with me on the plane. After learning about each other's situation, the woman asked me, "What is your religion?"

 * I told Islam. Asked the name of our Prophet. I told Hazrat Muhammad. Then the girl asked, "Do you know that your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had eleven marriages?"

 When I showed ignorance, the girl said that it was true. After that, this girl made two or three other accusations about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in addition to the domination of the desires of the soul. I was not a Muslim when I landed at London Airport. *

  * During my stay in England for eight years, I did not meet any Muslim. I even gave up Eid prayers. On Sundays I would go to church and the Muslims there would call me a Christian. *

  * When I returned to Pakistan after eight years, I became an orthopedist and started working at Liaquat Medical College. I had the same habit here. Listening to this lecturer tonight made my heart clear and I have read the word again. *

 * Consider how a few words of a woman misled a Muslim and if he did not listen to this statement of Dr. Inayatullah today, I do not know what would happen to me? *

 * The reason for this is the lack of knowledge of us Muslims. We do not read or try to know about the life of the Holy Prophet. *

 * In many meetings, when someone says such a thing, Muslims do not respond, they avoid it. This raises the spirits of those who object. That is why it is so important that we study this subject and tell the truth to the people on the spot. *

 * I was once traveling from Bahawalpur to Multan by bus when a man was misleading people about the marriages of the Holy Prophet. When I started talking to him, he fell silent and the rest of the people moved around. *

 * People have sacrificed their lives for the honor of the Holy Prophet. Don't we have enough time to memorize the salient points of this subject and to tell people on the spot? I was made aware of this by a doctor friend who lives in England and came here with a group. Many of Dr. Sahib's friends in England belonged to other religions. They provide them with accurate information on the subject. *

  * He pointed out the key points, which I am serving. On Sundays, Dr. Sahib goes to "church" through his friends. There he introduces himself and introduces the Holy Prophet. Christians, especially mausoleums, object to your marriage. The answers given by the doctor are as follows: *

 * 1) My beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married an elderly widow, Hazrat Khadijah (may Allaah be pleased with her) in the age of 25. Hazrat Khadija (RA) was 40 years old and as long as Hazrat Khadija (RA) was alive, she did not remarry. By the age of 50, he was content with one wife. (If a person is dominated by carnal desires, he is not content to spend 25 years of his youth with a widow.) After the death of Hazrat Khadija, he got married for various reasons. Then from the same assembly Dr. Sahib asked the question that there are many young people sitting here ...... which of you is a young man who will marry a 40 year old widow ....? *

  * All remain silent. Dr. Sahib told him that the Holy Prophet had done this. Then Dr. Sahib told everyone that all the eleven marriages he had had, except one, were all widows. Everyone was amazed. *

 * Then he told the assembly that seventy Companions of Rizwan Allah Anhum were martyred in the battle of Uhud. More than half of the families became homeless. There was no support for the orphans. To solve this problem, the Holy Prophet asked his companions to marry Begum. In order to motivate people, you have ... *

   * 2) Hazrat Sooda (RA) *

   * 3) Hazrat Umm Salma and *

  * 4) He married Hazrat Zainab bint Khazeema at different times. *

 * 5) The Arabs had a tradition of polygamy. The aim was to bring the tribes closer together through second marriage and to promote Islam. *

 * Dr. Sahib said that it was customary among the Arabs to consider it against their honor to fight against anyone who became their son-in-law. *

  * Abu Sufyan was the fiercest opponent of the Holy Prophet before he converted to Islam. But when his daughter Umm Habiba was married to the Holy Prophet, this enmity subsided. It so happened that Umm Habiba became a Muslim in the beginning and migrated to Abyssinia with her Muslim husband. There, her husband became a Christian. Hazrat Umm Habiba (RA) separated from him and reached home with great difficulty. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) entertained them and married them through the king of Abyssinia. *

 * 6) Hazrat Jawariya's father was the chief of the Mustaliq tribe. This tribe lived between Makkah and Madinah. The Holy Prophet waged jihad against this tribe, their leader was killed. Hazrat Jawariya (RA) was imprisoned and came to the side of a Companion (RA). The Companions, in consultation with Rizwanullah Anhum, married the daughter of the Sardar to the Holy Prophet and with the blessing of this marriage, hundreds of families of this tribe became free and all became Muslims. *

 * 7) In the battle of Khyber, Hazrat Safia, the daughter of a Jewish chief, was taken prisoner and joined the company of a Companion. The Companions, on the advice of Rizwanullah Anhum, arranged their marriage with the Holy Prophet. *

 * 8) In the same way, Islam spread in the area of Najd due to the marriage of Maimuna. The purpose of these marriages was also to bring people closer to the Holy Prophet. They can observe the morals of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) so that they may be guided. *

  * 9) Marriage to Hazrat Maria was also a link in the same chain. You were a former Christian and belonged to a royal family. They were sent as a gift by the Byzantine king Shah Muqawqas to his sacred service. *

 * 10) What to do to break the ritual of marriage with Hazrat Zainab bint Jahsh. Hazrat Zayd (RA) was called the son of the Holy Prophet (SAW). He was married to Hazrat Zainab bint Jahsh. When it was not appropriate, Hazrat Zayd (RA) divorced her, then the Holy Prophet (PBUH) got married and proved that Mutbani does not come under the real son at all. *

  * 11) Continuing his speech, Dr. Sahib said that the source of Islamic knowledge is the Holy Qur'an and the Holy Prophet's biography. In order to preserve every aspect of the Holy Prophet's life, the men, especially the Companions of Safa, took an active part in preserving it. A group of women was needed for this task. It was difficult to work with a companion. To complete this work, he performed many marriages. He had instructed Rizwanullah Anhan, the wife of the purified ones, to take note of everything that they saw in the darkness of night. Hazrat Ayesha (RA) who was very intelligent, shrewd and understanding. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught you specifically about women's rulings and issues. *

  * After the death of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Ayesha lived for 48 years and 2210 hadiths have been narrated from her. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) say that when there is any doubt in a matter, Hazrat Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) would have known about it. *

  * Similarly, the number of narrations of Hazrat Umm Salma (RA) is 368. From these circumstances it became clear that the house of Rizwanullah Anhan, the wife of the purified wives, was a place of religious instruction for women because this education was for the Day of Judgment and for the whole world and the media was limited. How diligently this work must have been done, therefore, cannot be estimated today. *

 * In the end, Dr. Sahib said that in the above statement, I preach to the people in the churches and they listen. The rest of the guidance is in the hands of Allah Almighty. *

  * If educated Muslims remember these points and someone attacks the person of the unfortunate Prophet, then we should all defend him. *

 * At least fulfill your responsibility by sharing it on each of your group WhatsApp, Facebook and all contact books. *

  May Allah help us all and make us do good deeds. Amen. *
