Modern edition of Maulana Azad's "Ghobar Khatir"

Ghobar-e-Khater' is being presented on the occasion of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's 133rd birthday. To say 'Ghobar-e-Khater' is a collection of letters written by Maulana Azad during his captivity in Qila Ahmad Nagar from 1942 to 1945, but this work is a masterpiece of Urdu literature which contains both poetry and prose. Hussein gets a taste of mixing. This is Maulana Azad's last post after 'Tazkira' and 'Translation of the Qur'an' after which practical politics did not give him time to write anything.

It would not be out of place to call "Ghobar-e-Khater" a treasure trove of selected poems from Urdu, Arabic and especially Persian literature. This book contains a collection of various topics and essays which is a testament to Maulana Azad's study and breadth of knowledge. Her romantic style captivates the reader with her consistency and flow of expression.

Although Maulana Azad's personality has been controversial due to his political views on the partition of India and the establishment of Pakistan, his place in the world of science and literature and in Urdu prose cannot be ignored. The popularity of his book, especially Ghubar Khatir, can be gauged from the fact that since its first publication in 1946, hundreds of editions and millions of copies of the book have been published in India and Pakistan. But the demand for this book has not diminished.

For a long time, Book Corner wanted to publish this masterpiece of literature in a beautiful and sophisticated way. In this regard, the Sahitya Akademi Delhi, which was published with a detailed case of Dr. Malik Ram, intends to publish it on a modern basis.

Dr. Malik Ram's footnotes on Arabic, Persian poems, quotations and explanatory material in the text of the book were very useful, so his inclusion in the book is an added value for the readers. However, instead of placing them in the last pages of the book, they are added to the footnotes immediately after each letter so that the reader does not have to bother.

Secondly, "Ghobar-e-Khater" contains a collection of about seven hundred poems which are derived from Urdu, Arabic and most Persian literature. When Maulana Azad wrote "Ghobar-e-Khater" it was a time of scholarly humor in Arabic and Persian, so there was no need for its translation. Today, when our knowledge of these languages is no longer a joke, the translation of these poems has become an indispensable need of the reader.

In view of this, the translation of Arabic and Persian poems has also been included in the footnote at the bottom of the same page so that the reader unfamiliar with these languages can get acquainted with the meaning of the poem through translation. All that is left is to satisfy the reader's tastes. At the beginning of the text of the book it is explained that with each poem the English number shows the translation of the poem given in the footnote while the Urdu numbers in the book are listed for the footnote of Dr. Malik Ram.

The detailed footnotes, their sources and the translation of the poems were a demanding task, for which the institution had to work very carefully and diligently. We are very grateful to Mr. Zafar Hassan Raza for his cooperation in this regard. Rewarded for useful feedback. Also, be sure to read his article "Free in Jail", it is really a useful article.

How to Succeed at an Interview A few suggestions Part TWO

4- Be professional

Ensure self-confidence during your interview. Introduce yourself as a professional, even if this is your first interview. Improve your communication skills. Don't go for less that your full potential when it comes to getting a job.

I have often seen in interviews that young people say that even if we don't get this job, it doesn't matter, someone will take our place better than us. That is, you have proved yourself inferior.

5- Common questions asked in the interview

Here are a few common questions asked during the interview and their possible answers. In addition, if a friend needs any help in this regard, Khaksar is present.

The first question that is usually asked during interviews is "Tell me something about yourself", then start with your name and give a brief description of your place and education. Also, if you have any previous job experience, be sure to mention it. And finally, be very brief about your family status (if you want to discuss).

If you are already doing a job somewhere, the interviewer will ask you the question "why do you want to change jobs"?

6. Explain your shortcomings in a positive way

A question that is asked in almost every interview, "What are your weaknesses?" It wants to know how much you know about yourself and now it's up to you how you present yourself. In the possible answer, you could say, "You are very sensitive, it is very difficult for you to lie, you are outspoken, you are talkative, you are very anxious until you reach your target, on people. Trust quickly, pay close attention to even the smallest details of the work. ”And so on and so forth

7- Why do you need a job?

If the interviewer asks you, "Why do we hire you?" The answer is to relate your educational qualifications and skills to the job in question and how it matches your job. Also, be sure to mention how this job will be an important milestone in achieving your career goals.

8- You can also ask questions

It is usually asked at the end of the interview, "If you have any questions." Never waste this opportunity as young people usually end up saying 'no thanks'. Don't do that at all. This is considered to be a very important part of the interview. These questions and answers set you apart from others. It shows how much interest you have and how serious you are about this job. So don't hesitate and ask questions. But be sure to avoid weird questions like how much is your salary, your post What is, where do you live .etc. Ask about the organization. Ask about the nature of your job .Talk about salary and promotion structure, ask about job timings and location .etc. But remember to avoid too long.

How to Succeed at an Interview A few suggestions Part One

1- Take care of clothes

A successful interview is definitely considered the first step in getting any job. You have already given your impression to the interviewer before speaking the first word in any face-to-face interview. And that impression you give with your clothes. Undoubtedly your dress is a mirror of your personality.

Whenever you go for an interview, whether it is in any organization and in any position, try to use the suit.

Decorate the suit in a way that fits you and not so that you try to fit in it. Solid or neutral colors can be used for the suit. If you are using a dark color suit, its Use a light-colored shirt with .If you are wearing a tie, try to avoid flash colors. However, with neutral colors.

Use a tie of vivid colors.

Take care of the length of your tie that most people don't have. The end of your tie should lightly touch your belt, neither too high nor too low.

When wearing a belt, make sure that the belt always matches your shoes and not your suit. If you are wearing brown shoes, use a brown belt and if you are wearing black shoes, use a black belt Please.

Take special care when it comes to shows. Match the color of your socks to your shoes, not the suit. Use a good perfume but be careful never to use strong scented perfume for interviews

How are the women dressing?

Women who wear gowns or abayas. Their abayas should be simple, shiny or not buttoned. The color should not be dark. Also, the hijab should be simple. The women who wear shalwar kameez should not wear dark Yes. Don't have a floral shirt. Check shirt is not better either. Prefer plain dress and white.

Women should wear shoes that do not make a ticking sound.

2- Learn from the experiences of others

The best way to learn in every field of life is to learn from the mistakes of others. So try to avoid the mistakes that people around you repeat. Like a mistake that always strikes me. It happens and I can't get anywhere on time. This thing makes a lot of sense in interviews. If you are late for the given time, I think you have already lost 2%, so always try to arrive on time keeping this in mind. Arriving on time for the interview means arriving 2/3 minutes ahead of the given time.

3-Body language

Your body language should always be strong. It's natural to be nervous during interviews, but don't let it overwhelm you. Try to relax yourself but also remember that being overly relaxed will weaken your body language. This way the negative side of your personality will emerge. To keep your body language strong, pay special attention to your sitting posture during the interview and try to keep your body straight with your hands on your lap or on your knees. Avoid leaning on your back .It is also a bit inappropriate to sit cross-legged.

Pay close attention to the interviewer, listen carefully and do not interrupt. If you want to say something, let it be done first.

Before you say or answer anything, take a break for 5 to 6 seconds and try to talk while looking.

Do we really know "everyone"?

If we already know everything, why don't we make progress?  Why don't we go ahead in science?  The late Richard Feynman, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics, used to say, "I must be so intelligent that I know how foolish I am."

In our society, it is reminded from childhood that we already have the answer to every question.  It is as if we are on the last rung of knowledge.

But the situation is that in the Kingdom of God, modern science is a distant thing, even basic science is not taught and explained carefully.  In a downtrodden society, when people are told the science that the whole world has been using for years and thanks to which we also continue to use the inventions of science, they find it all a conspiracy, a magic or a lie.  The naive masses think that this science is a fabrication or a myth.  However, unknowingly, they are fascinated by this science and continue to oppose it.  Whatever the reason, it is certain that the mind must be refreshed.  The water in the standing pond stinks.  In the same way, when new knowledge and new thinking are not given space in the mind, the mind also becomes polluted.  It has always been human nature to adopt the idea of crowds.  In a way, this attitude has been a guarantee of our survival in the past, but today we know that reality cannot be changed by the fact that if many people start believing day to be night, it will become night.

In today's society we have to make decisions based on the test of reason, we need to know what is happening in the world and how science has reached.  Before we miss this opportunity.  Remember that it is knowledge that makes one person superior to another and a nation superior to another nation.  Gone are the days when you conquered the worlds with swords and clubs.  Get out of the past and look to the future.  For myself and for future generations.

Goods are expensive

So far in the city, the sound of the feet of a cow with big eyes is not coming regularly. Or maybe Eid is far away. But where is the distance of the day of sacrifice? Eid is ahead. After a week, it will be Eid's turn. Clouds will come from house to house. Clouds will not rain in droves, but there are reports of thunderstorms, thunderstorms and thunderstorms. But what is this? There is a golden atmosphere in the atmosphere of the city these days near Eid.

The markets are empty. They are all deserted and desolate. There are markets but the land and lawn are empty in them. Where is the wealth? The wealth is expensive. Has been removed Where is the prosperity that was there last year? We can't ask for money. The roads are deserted or we feel it. The animals were taken away.

When the bell rang in the neck of a cow coming from far behind, the women passing by would get frightened and climb on the door bags in the middle of the houses. Those scenes have not been seen yet or have been seen, then a few will be seen. Those fluffy creatures and the children holding the ropes of the cattle are now sitting quietly in the house at the hands of Grani. You have to contribute to the animal sacrifices of your neighbors or relatives. You have to live like this, otherwise the happiness of the children has been taken away by this inflation.

The practice of oxen is no longer common in the city. On the contrary, he has become destitute, limited and deceased. Sahib is expensive, he is expensive and he is very good. He is hesitant in choosing and buying an animal. If you ask a calf, it will be one and a half lakh. A goat is not less than fifty thousand. What should one do in such a situation. How to buy animals at double and triple price. The sacrifice of Eid-ul-Adha is related to sincerity.

The person who was not obliged to sacrifice also took the animal as a hobby and slaughtered his animal on the day of Eid. But even now they are going to show sincerity. They will definitely send their hobby to the court of Yazdi for the purpose of acceptance. But that dhoom dharka is no more. "How long will autumn keep the trees fruitless?" This rut will pass soon. Keep the spirits up. ”Cows and oxen can be seen here and there.

With a week left, people will finally go out to cultivate their tastes and hobbies. Because it is easy to bring the animal home. But most of the cement and rum houses in the city do not have enough space to accommodate the animal. So some gentlemen go somewhere near Eid and bring cattle for themselves. Will So the prosperity that is no longer there will come out two days before Eid. But on the other hand, where the citizens are short of money and their pockets are empty, they are extremely worried about the sacrifice. They go home every day and look for ramandis and when they come home after asking for rent etc., they return empty handed. Goods are expensive

What is illusion, dream and reality ?

This is about the days when I came from Toba Tek Singh's Dada Mohtarma's village Alowal to Nana Mohtarma's village Kenthan (Bismillahpur) near Lyallpur and took admission in the first class there. Don't know if it was a dream or reality. I remember it happening all the time. As soon as I lay down on the bed at night, my being would turn into colorful particles of light, and this monster of light particles would rise from the bed and go out through the roof. From the roof I could see the roofs of the surrounding houses and the whole village. "Then an unseen force would start fighting. This force would take me to the village cemetery every time. I think the grave I used to go to was probably the grave of my grandfather. Wale never mentioned the incident (which happened again and again and therefore became a permanent part of the memoirs) to anyone. If I had told my grandmother or mother, the grave might have been confirmed or denied.

The second incident occurred at the age of eight. I dropped out of school and worked in the fields for many years. After work, most of my time was spent playing cards, playing sticks, and playing such useless games. Apparently I had no future. It was winter. He used to bring some sugarcane home after peeling sugarcane. Sucking their juices at night often meant waking up at night to urinate. That night he also went out to urinate and then locked the door and lay down on the bed. Suddenly I felt that someone had climbed on the bed and sat at my feet. I looked around with a happy face. A white bearded old man with a red face was sitting there staring at me. I immediately tried to hide my face inside Rezai. The elder pulled Rezai towards me. It seemed that he was not happy with me for some reason. At that time I looked around the room and saw my mother and all my siblings I was sleeping on my bed. The lantern was burning because I could not sleep in the dark room. Everything in the room was in its place. That is, it was not a dream.

The next day I wondered if what I saw was a dream or a reality. It was a fact to go out of the room to urinate and then lie down on the bed. The white-bearded old men arrived at my bedside. Also, in dreams, the house does not look like it is in reality. Short story short, I tore up the cards and threw them away that day and stopped wasting time playing games. Five times started going to the mosque. A boy from the village was asked to write the first few verses of Surah Baqarah in Urdu as they are recited. Thus, after reading a few verses, I came to know how to recite the Qur'an in Arabic. Thus read the whole Qur'an and memorize many surahs orally. The next year he ran away from the village and resumed his education.

About ten or eleven years later, during my stay in Lahore, I mentioned this incident to Professor Tufail Qureshi. I also told them that I could not yet decide if what I saw was a dream or a reality. He took me to a friend of mine, Iftikhar. Mr. Iftikhar was employed in PCSIR Laboratories and an expert in dream interpretation. If a servant forgot part of the dream, he would also tell. After hearing my "dream", he told Professor Qureshi that it was not a dream, it was a reality. He revealed that this sage was also seen by some other people. I forgot to ask them more details about this.

You can ignore these events as my delusion. However, for me both are important. Why? Because of the first incident, I believe that our real being, which religion calls soul and science consciousness, is capable of seeing and hearing without the body. The experiences of those who are near death and those who return from the brink of death also confirm this. If the second incident had not happened, I would have been working in the fields of the village even today, but it is very likely that I would have left this world before the age of sixty.

Derrida's statement about....?

Derrida's statement that the externality of dal is the externality of writing raises the question that if there is externality of dal then there will also be internality. If the externality of the dal is the externality of the writing, then whose internality will be the internality of the dal. If the above question is taken further, then the internality and externality of the meaning is also discussed. Besides, the internality of every internality and the externality of every externality also comes into question. If language is merely a game of differentiation and the meaning arises from differentiation, then the concept of introversion will arise from who is differentiated and from whom the externality will be differentiated. And their meanings and the one from which the difference will be made.
